Don’t forget the garlic bread!

  • 250g lean beef mince
  • 2 tsp breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cajun powder
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp salt & pepper
  • 2 cups uncooked orzo
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 10 shavings of parmesan
  • 4 slices of focaccia
  • 1 bulb of garlic (crushed)
  • 1 tbsp chopped herbs
  • 2 tbsp salted butter
  • Preheat oven to 220’c/Gas mark 6
  • Heat a pan of water until boiling, drop in the orzo and cook for 10 minutes
  • In a bowl add the mince, cajun, paprika, 1/2 tsp rosemary, salt and pepper and mix, divide into balls (6) and place on a greaseproof lined tray. Cook for 10 minutes
  • Heat another pan on the hob, drop in the vinegar, sugar, and remaining rosemary, allow to heat up and then add the tomatoes and cook for a few minutes until warm
  • Combine the garlic, butter and herbs until softened, spread onto the focaccia and cook for 6 minutes until golden and the butter has absorbed into the bread
  • Plate it all up and top with parmesan.
