Thats right – 3 ingredients for perfect pancakes. They’re so easy to make, very tasty and are great reheated in the toaster.
Breakfast on the go never tasted so good…….
Prep time – 2 minutes
Cooking time – 5 minutes
2 large free range eggs
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder (we used USN Whey Chocolate) you may need a little extra if your eggs are larger!
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp of vanilla quark
1 tbsp of 0% fat yoghurt
1 tbsp honey
Combine the eggs, protein and baking powder in a bowl and whisk, you want a thicker batter, add a little more protein if it is runny. Set aside for 5 minutes
Add the quark, yoghurt and honey in a separate bowl and combine
Heat a non-stick frying pan on a medium heat
Once hot, add 3 small circles of batter to the pan roughly 3cm wide. Cook for 2-3 minutes
Once the pancakes begin to bubble flip and cook for another minute
Serve on a plate stacked high with the yoghurt/quark mix or allow to cool and place in a tub with the yoghurt separate and then simply reheat for 1 minute in the toaster when you’re ready.
